At TBS Cladding Solutions, we’re proud to be working alongside PS Construction and Building Link Design to help deliver the exciting new two-storey extension at Hall Cross School in Doncaster. This project represents more than just additional classroom space – it’s an investment in the long-term educational environment for students, creating modern, well-designed facilities that will support both learning and day-to-day school life.

Our involvement goes beyond simply supplying materials; it’s about being part of a collaborative effort that brings together expertise in design, construction, and specialist cladding solutions. By combining our full brick slip system with the skill and precision of PS Construction and the vision of Building Link Design, we’re helping to deliver a project that is not only functional and durable but also architecturally consistent with the school’s existing buildings.

By combining these elements, the project benefits from a system that is robust, efficient to install, and designed to achieve a long-lasting, high-quality finish.

The new extension will provide six additional classrooms and a carefully designed landscaped courtyard, creating spaces that not only expand capacity but also support students in their day-to-day school life. The focus has been on delivering a build that meets both functional and aesthetic needs, ensuring the new facilities blend seamlessly with the existing school environment.

From the very beginning, the construction team has taken a meticulous approach to managing the site, ensuring that day-to-day school operations could continue with as little disruption as possible. Recognising that safety and continuity are key priorities in a live education environment, every stage of the build has been carefully planned to protect both students and staff.

Major works, such as crane lifts, deliveries of large structural elements, and significant concrete pours, have been strategically scheduled to take place during school holidays. This forward planning not only reduces noise and disruption during teaching hours but also ensures that the most complex and high-risk aspects of construction are carried out in the safest possible conditions. The result is a project that progresses efficiently while maintaining a safe, calm, and functional learning environment for everyone on site.
