Unite Students Bromley Place – Project Overview

Bromley Place is a residential development in Nottingham, providing modern student accommodation within the city.

TBS Cladding Solutions worked with Aliva UK on the project, with three contrasting brick types, Shelford Cream, Normandy Grey and Brookmill Blend, selected for the external façade.

The combination of different tones and finishes creates variation across the elevations, helping to break up the scale of the building and give individual areas of the façade their own character.

Our Involvement

TBS Cladding Solutions provided the brick requirements for the project, working with Aliva UK to achieve the intended architectural appearance.

Using three different brick types allowed the façade design to incorporate a varied material palette while retaining a consistent overall finish. Shelford Cream, Normandy Grey and Brookmill Blend each bring their own colour and character to the scheme, creating contrast and visual interest across the development.

Careful product selection was important in achieving the right balance between the different finishes and ensuring they worked together as part of the wider façade design.

The Result

The completed development has a contemporary appearance with brickwork playing an important role in the overall character of the building. The mix of cream, grey and blended brick tones gives the elevations depth and variation, resulting in a façade that feels considered and well suited to a modern residential development.
