Welcome to Bricknology®

Bricknology®

The way we work reflects the versatility of our product.

An open market approach with brick slip selection currently defined only by UK brick sizes, but also the ability to accommodate alternative brick sizes for the right size projects,  provides us with complete flexibility to engage on a high percentage of projects, regardless of the specific brick type.

We are on hand to consult with you on brick slip selection, provide technical support, brick slip and groove cutting services, all carried out in-house to ensure the highest quality control.

Choosing BRICKNOLOGY® as the brick cladding finish to a wide range of architectural systems, makes it an ideal choice for Exterior Facades, Wall Cladding and Balconies, across all New Build, Refurbishment and Modular Offsite construction projects.

Its reduced weight gives designers freedom to implement dynamic brick cladding architecture, while yielding significant cost savings due to the reduced demand on foundations and minimal need for additional support structures.

BRICKNOLOGY® is significantly quicker to install, ensuring a fast-track approach to brick cladding construction.

THE BRICKNOLOGY® DIFFERENCE

No Height Limit

BRICKNOLOGY® is suitable for installation at any building height, subject to appropriate facade engineering calculations being carried out by qualified professionals.

A1 Fire Rated

BRICKNOLOGY® purpose made steel rails, brick slips and mortar is classified as Euroclass A1 in accordance with EN 13501-1 and Delegated Regulation 2016/364.

Any Brick Type

BRICKNOLOGY® is compatible with any brick type in UK, or other sizes, which we are able to provide a brick match, or a range of options to choose from.

Ventilated

BRICKNOLOGY® is a ventilated brick cladding. Our design allows any excess water absorbed by the natural clay brick  slips and mortar joints to rear drain through the ventilated cavity meaning no mould or water ingress being held on the face of the brick work.

Certified Testing

Our ambition is for BRICKNOLOGY® to become the most tested brick cladding product on the market. European Technical Assessment has already been achieved with proven results and test data to share.

Resistant to Wind Loading

BRICKNOLOGY® has been subjected to Wind pressure tests at +3000Pa and Wind Suction at -6600Pa with no visible damage.

           Impact Resistance

BRICKNOLOGY® has withstood soft and hard body impact tests without any damage and therefore no risk.

Frost Resistance

Bricks classified as F2 Frost Resistance, in accordance with EN771-1, specification for clay masonry units are used with BRICKNOLOGY®.

Fast-Track Installation

BRICKNOLOGY® is straight forward to install, providing fast-track installation, which minimises time on site and significantly reduces construction overall.

Minimal Weather Dependency

Only the mortaring of BRICKNOLOGY® is solely dependent upon the weather. Our custom steel rails and brick slips can be installed whatever the weather, meaning less construction time being lost due to the inclement weather.

Design Patent Pending

Our patent-pending brick slip retention technology, is our unique innovation that ensures every brick slip is mechanically secured and supported as standard with BRICKNOLOGY®.

Reduced Weight

BRICKNOLOGY® weighs 45kg/m2 dry and 65kg/m2 wet making it over 50% lighter than traditional brickwork, reducing structural load on the building.
